Factions

Vasari Exodus

Allocate Resonance Points between Mobility, Combat, and Utility to customize transient improvements to your units when they exit phase space.

Overview

Vasari Exodus is the nomadic, survival-driven faction of the Vasari Empire. Fleeing an ancient cosmic enemy, Exodus sustains its flight through resource extraction, mobile fleet infrastructure and the consumption of planets.

Compared with Vasari Alliance

Both Vasari factions use Phase Resonance, but they follow two different survival strategies:

  • Civilization: Alliance defends its colonies and allies with minor factions. Exodus strips colonized planets to fuel a nomadic fleet.
  • Titan: Alliance fields the Kultorask Titan, which disables enemies with nanites. Exodus fields the Vorastra Titan, with local micro-jumps, phase tunnels and the ability to swallow enemy ships.
  • Logistics: Alliance relies on planetary structures. Exodus uses mobile labs and Mobile Rulership to operate without planets.

Core mechanics

Phase Resonance

Phase Resonance points are allocated across three tracks: Mobility, Combat and Utility. Ships gain temporary bonuses after leaving phase space, so timing your arrival matters.

Stripped to the Core

Stripped to the Core lets you strip a colonized world for an immediate resource harvest. The planet's ongoing income is lost permanently, so the choice cannot be undone.

Mobile civilization and the Vorastra Titan

The Vorastra Titan brings Micro Phase Jump, Phase Tunneling and The Maw. Mobile Rulership lets the empire survive without planets as long as its flagship survives.

Strike craft

Vasari fleets field Heavy Fighter strike craft. The Junsurak Warden frigate specializes in fighting corvettes.

Countering corruption

Phase Jump Inhibitors passively remove planetary corruption and ease development restrictions, and dedicated research strengthens these effects. Removing corruption does not remove an Eidolon Shroud from a planet.

Strategic trade-offs

  • Extraction vs. income: Stripping planets gives a burst of resources but ends their production. If the offensive fails, the economy cannot recover.
  • Concentrated assets: Putting administration on capital flagships turns them into high-value targets.
  • Market conversion: Converting metal into crystal through the market comes at a price penalty.

Content and DLC

The base game Exodus roster includes the Vorastra Titan, the Vasari capital ships and the deployable Orkulus Starbase. The Reinforcements DLC adds the Anarkrul Wanderer and The Departure victory condition.
