Factions

Vasari Alliance

Allocate Resonance Points between Mobility, Combat, and Utility to customize transient improvements to your units when they exit phase space.

Overview

Vasari Alliance is the cooperative branch of the Vasari. Where Exodus consumes worlds to keep moving, Alliance builds lasting colonies and draws strength from minor factions and advanced fleet technology.

Compared with Vasari Exodus

Both Vasari factions use Phase Resonance, but their priorities differ:

  • Civilization: Exodus is nomadic and consumes planets with Stripped to the Core. Alliance rejects planetary destruction and builds conventional colonies.
  • Diplomacy: Alliance uses influence points, minor faction treaties and Xeno Relations Centers. Exodus relies on extraction and mobile infrastructure.
  • Titan: Exodus fields the mobile Vorastra Titan for raiding. Alliance fields the Kultorask Titan, which disables enemy engines and drains hull strength with nanites.

Core mechanics

Phase Resonance

Phase Resonance points are spread across three tracks and grant temporary bonuses after a phase jump. Fleets should engage quickly, before the bonuses wear off.

Influence and minor factions

Alliance spends influence points on minor faction abilities, market favors and planetary items. Which minor factions appear depends on the map, and planetary item slots limit how many improvements a world can hold at once.

Kultorask Titan

The Kultorask's strongest abilities work at close range. Bombers and missile ships that stay out of that range are hard for it to reach, so it needs to close the distance.

Strike craft

Vasari fleets field Heavy Fighter strike craft. The Junsurak Warden frigate specializes in fighting light corvette swarms.

Research

The Sulsurak and Junsurak blueprints sit at specific tiers of the research tree; see the database entries for exact requirements.

Strategic trade-offs

  • Map dependency: Alliance bonuses depend on minor factions being present. On small or sparse maps without key minor factions, diplomatic investment pays off less.
  • Planet-bound economy: Unlike Exodus, Alliance needs its colonies and cannot fall back on planet stripping or mobile infrastructure.
  • Market conversion: Trading between metal and crystal on the market comes at a price penalty.

Content and DLC

The base game Alliance roster includes the Kultorask Titan, the Vasari capital ships and the Orkulus Starbase. The Reinforcements DLC adds the Sularkon Tyrant, a support command ship with a built-in Phase Gate node.
